We exist at Good News Church to think, act and become like Jesus together! Won't you join us? We Connect on Sunday mornings to God and to each other in the worship service at 11:00. If you're an early morning type - we have service at 8:00 and 9:30 AM too. Following the 11:00 service, there is a FREE lunch for all college aged students called THE POINT.
SOJAH - What is Sojah? SOJAH is Social Justice in Action for Him. Jesus was the ultimate example of love and truth. He cared for the poor, the widowed and the weak. That is what we are going to do this semseter we are going to use the resources we have as a community and love the unlovely. When you come to the Point this semsester you are going to change your community and your world through the gospel. Come be a part of the movement!
The Point is a the college Community Group, where we grow in biblical instruction together. This high-energy large group experience features FREE FOOD, MUSIC, TEACHING and GIVEAWAYS!! It meets every Sunday after the 11:00 service in the Good News Gym. The Good News Church College Ministry is passionate about local as well as worldwide missions. Locally we have a sandwich ministry that reaches out to the people of west St. Augustine. To get involved contact Mitch Heinz 904-315-2725, or meet on Wednesdays or Thursdays in the back of the Florida East Coast Railway. Globally we have been on mission trips to Sweden, India, Costa Rica, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan. This year we will once again serve globally by spreading the love of Christ to get involved contact the College Ministry Team. EMANCIPATION Have you had a tough week? Have you had a hard time focusing on God? Do you just need a time of raw worship? If so, then head to Emancipation! It's for you. Every other Sunday night the college worship team brings God-centered worship to the auditorium at Good News Church. Come join us, as we grow more passionate in our relationship with Christ! |
